John Smoltz has pitched his entire major league career with the Atlanta Braves, but he is on the verge of signing a deal with the Boston Red Sox.
Boston College Eagles have fired Jeff Jagodzinski after he interviewed with the New York Jets. BC athletic director Gene DeFilippo told Jagodzinski on Saturday that he would lose his job if he took the interview with the Jets.
Eric Mangini, the former ballboy for the Cleveland Browns has accepted the head coaching position with the Browns. He signed a 4 year contract and is currently in the process of hiring a new coaching staff.
Could the Pacman be out of football permanently?? The Dallas Cowboys have released Adam "Pacman" Jones the troubled cornerback. Jones had a turbulent season in which he was suspended six games for an off-field scuffle and made little impact on the field.
